Located a few minutes from South Peak, the North Country Center for the Arts at Jean’s Playhouse in Lincoln is a local favorite for live shows and theatrical performances. When shows begin around Memorial Day, audiences are treated to Broadway favorites and children’s classics alike all summer long before the players close out the year with heartfelt renditions of some all-time family favorites. In addition to establishing a reputation for excellence in the performing arts, Jean’s is also home to Broadway Bound, an immersive day camp taught by professional mainstage actors from across the country. Broadway Bound teaches aspiring actors some of the basics of the industry and helps foster a love of the arts in the next generation.
