Summer may not last forever, but fun is never out of season at South Peak! Autumn allows residents and guests to experience the natural beauty of the White Mountains in a whole new way. The region is never more beautiful than it is in the fall foliage season when billowing warm hues color the landscape for as far as the eye can see. A late autumn afternoon drive along the Kancamagus Highway is one of the most beautiful sights you can experience in New England.

Situated in the heart of the mountains in scenic Lincoln, NH, South Peak is prime real estate for those looking to take in the sights of the season. Quick and easy access to several mountain peaks and the Kancamagus allows enthusiasts to take in the oceans of bright red, deep orange, and golden yellows that stretch for miles. Foliage begins turning color in late September, with peak color expected in the second and third week of October, though this may change from year to year.

To help plan your trip, the NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs launched an interactive Fall Foliage Tracker: Foliage Tracker
