Discover South Peak

An exclusive real estate opportunity on Loon Mountain

Integrated Ski Trail & Lift Networks

The centerpiece of South Peak Resort is the extensive terrain expansion on Loon’s South Mountain area.  This new terrain above South Peak Resort provides residents with slopeside access to a variety of new trails and lifts and further enhances Loon Mountain’s standing as one of the premier winter resorts in New Hampshire.

Highlighted by the high-speed Lincoln Express quad, 55 acres of new intermediate & expert terrain, and the Tote Road connector quad chair, which links South Peak to Loon's existing lift and trail network. For the latest updates on new trails, visit www.loonmtn.com

Hiking & Biking Trails

With the entire White Mountain National Forest in your backyard, there are endless opportunities to explore the outdoors on foot or bike. Hike out to a waterfall. Take in the fall colors from a mountain ridge. Bike the National scenic Kancamagus Highway -- where you might spot a moose. Or climb your way to one of New Hampshire’s 4,000’ peaks -- 48 in all. There is literally a trail for everyone.

Want to stay closer to home? South Peak Resort has its share of trails, too. The J.E. Henry Trail, a scenic bike and footpath, winds its way along the Pemigewasset River and around the community.  An additional 10+ acres of groomed hiking and biking trails are also planned.

Some of our favorite area hikes:

  • Sabbaday Falls – Easy
A one-mile hike (perfect for families) that loops around the falls. The trailhead is approximately 10 miles east of Lincoln, NH on the Kancamagus Highway.

  • Mt. Pemigewasset – Moderate
The hike to this 2,500’ summit offers one of the best effort-to-view ratios in the White Mountains. Follow Mt. Pemigewasset Trail to the top.

  • Lincoln/Lafayette Loop - Difficult
This challenging 9-mile hike is one of the most spectacular in the White Mountains. Rewards include breathtaking panoramic views from Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Lafayette, the above tree line excitement of Franconia Ridge, and the rushing waters of Cloudland Falls.  The trailhead is just north of Lincoln on I-93.
